Winter Concert

Come to the Winter Concert

Tuesday, December 16: 6:30 PM

Doors open at 6:00 PM

Location: Gym, enter from the Blacktop

 

Penn Alexander's much-loved annual winter concert will feature string, wind, and vocal students performing a range of repertoire. Volunteers are needed to help hand out programs, hold doors, sell and take tickets, usher, etc. All volunteers receive 2 free tickets! Also, Mrs. Zimmer is looking for a drummer. If you might be free and interested, please contact her.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for children/students, but tickets are required for all (except performers) and will likely sell out. The deadline for advance purchase is Friday, December 12All students must be accompanied by an adult.

School Advisory Council Meeting

Location: PAS Library

 

School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once a month and is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement, school improvement, effective teaching, and parent and community engagement, communication, and support. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month and are open to everyone in the school community. To learn more about Penn Alexander’s SAC and review a list of SAC members, please visit the SAC website.

Topic: Intro to SEL / Hopes & Dreams

 

This discussion series, coordinated by Mr. Manny Harris, Ms. Matti Freiberg, and Ms. Beth Clauss, was developed to support schools and community partners that wish to engage parents and caregivers in conversations about the social and emotional growth of their families.

 

Space is limited to 30 participants. Dinner and childcare will be provided, paid for by HSA funds.

Location: PAS Lunchroom (enter from Blacktop)

 

Join us for a homemade, all-you-can-eat family breakfast. Come and marvel at the talented teachers in tall hats, scampering student servers, and our executive chef, Dr. Overton! Volunteer shifts are available before, during, and after the event. All volunteers receive 2 free tickets! You can also help by donating much-needed supplies by Friday, January 16.

 

Early bird ticket pricing, through Thursday, January 22:

$10 for adults and high school students; $5 for children age 3 through middle school.

Day of event walk ins are welcome for a flat fee of $12 per person.
