14th Annual PAS 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk

Support STEAM education at Penn Alexander School by running, volunteering your time, or becoming a sponsor for the culminating event of the year.

PRICING: Adults: $40 / Students: $30. Purchase HERE through May 24. Register by May 1 to be guaranteed a T-shirt.

VOLUNTEER: All hands on deck! Sign up for a shift before, during, or after the race HERE. Day-of race volunteers will receive a free T-shirt, and course guides will also receive a free snack bag.

SPONSOR: Purchase or refer businesses HERE through April 23. Sponsorships are down from last year; we need your help!

Math Festival

Learn Something New at the Math Festival!

Thursday, April 16: 5:30-7:30 PM

5:30-6:00 PM: Optional FREE dinner in the lunchroom

6:00-7:30 PM: Visit fun math stations in the gym

Spend an evening doing puzzles and games, and learn some math too! Learn through play together with your children and see first-hand how to support them in their math studies. Volunteers are needed to bring dessert, with set up and clean up, and to help run the games. Come home with some fun freebies.

Topic: Healthy Conflict

This discussion series, coordinated by Mr. Manny Harris, Ms. Matti Freiberg, and Ms. Beth Clauss, was developed to support schools and community partners that wish to engage parents and caregivers in conversations about the social and emotional growth of their families.

Space is limited to 30 participants. Dinner and childcare will be provided, paid for by HSA funds.

School Advisory Council Meeting

School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once a month and is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement, school improvement, effective teaching, and parent and community engagement, communication, and support. Meetings are typically held on the third Monday of the month and are open to everyone in the school community.
