About once a month Principal Overton hosts a meeting in the cafeteria. In these sessions, Dr. Overton shares valuable information and answers any questions parents may have.

Agenda items for the HSA meeting include:

field restoration project
after-school clubs and programming
presentation of the HSA budget (Where do your donations go?)
upcoming events and volunteer needs

Pretzel Day

Pretzel Days Scheduled!

Pretzel Day is a beloved PAS tradition for the children. This year we will have one per month, on occasional Thursdays, for a total of 10 Pretzel Days. The first one is September 26!

Pre-pay deadline: October 27.

After the deadline, students can buy pretzels the day of with $2 cash.

On the same payment form, you can pre-pay for dress-down days which support various charitable causes chosen by members of Student Council. AND the HSA is selling 2024-25 school year calendars featuring map artwork by PAS students.

Back to School Night

Meet the Teachers at Back to School Night

5:30-7:30 PM

Tuesday, 9/17: Grades K-5

Wednesday, 9/18: Grades 6-8

Location: Meet in the Atrium from 5:30-5:50 and then disperse.

Join us to meet your child's teachers, visit the classrooms, and learn about school programming so they have a strong start to the 2024-2025 School Year!

Pizza and childcare provided on Tuesday. Childcare options include quiet time in the library with Ms. Barnes or active activities with Kat Bezhani of Kat Academy on the blacktop or gym.

School Advisory Council

School Advisory Council Meeting

Location: PAS Library; use Locust St. entrance after 3:45 PM

School Advisory Council (SAC) meets once a month and is a forum for discussion and collaboration with the PAS administration on school-based decision making with a focus on student achievement, school improvement, effective teaching, and parent and community engagement, communication, and support.
