Message from the Principal

We are trying out a new vendor - Literati - for the Bookfair at the end of the month.  We will send home information in Monday's paper pony.  Please click HERE to read about Literati and how to set up electronic payment for your child to purchase books at the fair and to donate to our schoolwide fund so that all students may have access.

We have expanded our classroom and library collections of books that center neurodiversity.  Our librarian Ms. Ross delivered the books to classrooms this week. Shout out HSA Giving Tuesday campaign for making this possible.

We welcome families to share their story for Ramadan. Please click HERE to complete an interest form and a staff member will reach out to you.

I wanted to give a special shout that the very popular Math Festival is returning this year.  Last year we had over 200 families with their families attend the fun evening of playing math games together.  This year the event is on March 20.  Dinner is provided.  Click HERE to sign up.

Also as reminder there is no coding club on Wednesday afterschool.  Penn student instructors are on spring break.  Please make plans to pick your child if need be at dismissal.

Communication Manager Needed

This role assists the President and PAS Partnership Manager in creating, editing, and releasing the weekly HSA e-newsletter. Time commitment is approx. 1-2 hours / week. Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form if interested in learning more.

Help Needed with Sponsorships

We have two big events coming up that need sponsorships from businesses: the 5K and the spring musical.

The 5K has sponsorships ranging from $250 - $3,500. Sponsors get their logo on the race t-shirt and potentially other perks such as providing their swag for the race bags and having a table presence at the race to promote their business. We also need prizes donated for the race -- gift certificates, free passes, tickets, products, etc.

The musical has program sponsorships ranging from $100 - $1500. Sponsors can create an ad for the program. The bigger the sponsorship, the bigger and more prominent the ad.

We also need help contacting businesses and asking if they are interested in becoming a sponsor. If you can recommend or solicit any businesses, please let us know by submitting the Sponsorship Form.
