 Afterschool club registration for the Winter Club Cycle is now open.  Click HERE for the club offerings and registration.  A paper flier with a QR code for registration will also be sent home tomorrow. Our January SAC meeting is tomorrow at 3:45pm in the library.  Please use the library entrance if come to the meeting after 3:45pm.

On Thursday evening, Dr. Thomas Power, Director of the Center for Management of ADHD at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia will be here  as this month's HSA Meeting & Speaker Series.  RSVP HERE. Childcare and dinner provided.  If you cannot attend, we will record Dr. Power's portion of the presentation and send it out in the next ePony.

Pancake Breakfast is back!  This much loved event is happening on Saturday, January 25.  Come enjoy all you can eat pancakes, farm fresh sausages, bacon and endless coffee.  Sign up here to buy tickets and to help with supplies needed.

Our Winter Coat drive for Nationalities Service Center will continue until January 20.  They are anticipating 100 immigrants and are in need of winter gear - new or gently used.  Click HERE for more information on how to donate. Drop off bins are located outside the main office.

Nominating Committee

The HSA is seeking people to serve on the Nominating Committee to help tap their networks for a diverse group of future board members and guide the elections process. The main duties of the nominating committee are:

• meet once or twice to learn the process and brainstorm names
• confirm and advertise the open positions
• reach out one-on-one to potential recruits

For full details on committee responsibilities, refer to Article 7 of the HSA Bylaws.

Ice Skating Party Chair Needed

The HSA is also looking for a chairperson and volunteers to help lead the Ice Skating Party, to be held sometime in March. Responsibilities would include:

• Confirm dates and details with the Penn Rink
• Manage volunteers in advance and at the party
• Serve as liaison between the board, rink, and volunteers
• Help with plans and communications
• Update existing project plan
