As a reminder, PIC requires an adult to sign in students who attend their program after PAS clubs. Students are not to walk to PIC on their own. Please make arrangements for an adult to pick up your PAS child if they are going to attend PIC afterschool as PAS does not have staffing to escort students to the various PIC locations. Assistant Principal Mrs. Talbert who directs clubs may be reached at tsettles@philasd.org if you need to change your pick up plan.

Come out to support our girls volleyball team tomorrow afterschool. Their first match is a scrimmage against TPS. Please remember that only middle schoolers can attend the game without a parent.
Recently our art room transformed into a prehistoric cave! All the window and walls were covered by student art inspired by the Lascaux Caves in France. Students crawled inside the cave with flashlights, learned about the history of Lascaux, created their own paint by mashing pigments and created their own prehistoric inspired cave art. Beside some great art, students were collaborating and working together on their own! They took turns holding lights for one another, shared the mortar and pestles and encouraged each other the entire time. Follow pas_artists on Instagram to see the pictures.
