Penn Alexander School

Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander University of Pennsylvania Partnership School

PAS ePony Oct. 6, 2024
Message from the Principal

The Fall Club cycle starts on Monday.  We will be serving 250 students this club cycle.  AM clubs start at 7:35am.  Students should report to front door no earlier than 7:30am.  There is no student supervision prior to 7:30am. PM clubs start immediately afterschool. All students will be directed to the lunchroom for snack. At 3:30pm, teachers will pick up their students.   Any student that leaves the building will not be permitted to re-enter to participate in their club.  Afterschool clubs will dismiss in the atrium at 4:30 sharp. For children being picked from the atrium, please use the main entrance doors.

On Wednesday, 6pm Caroline Hill will lead a parent workshop on talking across difference.  Free dinner and childcare provided. Read more and sign up here by Tuesday.   Please use the blacktop entrance.  This event will be held in the gym.

Also on Wednesday, HSA is sponsoring a BBQ for middle school students at 5pm.  This is a ticketed, sold out event.  Students will have dinner on the blacktop followed by board games in the lunchroom or a movie in the atrium.

While Fall Festival, when PAS turns into an indoor carnival, is still a few weeks away, discounted ticket sales will end on October 18.  Bakers for the bake-a-thon (you get to make and frost 400 cupcakes in PAS kitchen)!, at home bakers, volunteers and supplies are needed. Click HERE for more information.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week.

Don't Forget!

The district is taking input from stakeholders on the 25-26 and 26-27 calendar.  Click here to provide feedback on the options they are proposing.

On September 15, we kicked-off Latine/Heritage Month. We are excited to celebrate and honor the history, culture and influence of current and past generations from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. If you or someone you know would like to share your culture with our community, we are grateful for the experience to learn with you.  Click here to share with us.
